For every lying arrow, there is a corresponding truth.

When God sees you, He sees Christ.

Because of that and the Holy Spirit in your life at all times, you are seen as holy by God. But the Holy Spirit also still sees the imperfections in our lives and helps us want to fix them. He convicts our hearts of sin and enables us to want to change sinful behavior if we will lean in. You may let a lie grow slowly over time into something much larger than you would have ever allowed originally if you had known where it was going to lead. Notice you have control of how this turns out. But, how do you know that it is getting out of control? A firefly. Instead, these thoughts should strike you as a red flag. Ignoring red flags makes all other flags start looking much paler. The bright red flag can become a soothing blue that is hardly noticed.

Over time you can be standing in a field of red flags and not see them around you. The Holy Spirit will be waving His arms about them, but if you ignore Him, you can easily wind up in a field of flags and not notice it until the burn gets really bad, like a long day at the beach without sunblock. The burn comes now, but it is felt later.:
